Live Music​
Music in Texas is like Bluebonnets, something the state values greatly. We have created our own brand of country music here. Texas country's roots lie in the Outlaw country movement of the 1960s and 1970s. Texan artists such as Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and David Allan Coe retreated from the Nashville Country Music scene to Austin, Luckenbach, College Station and Houston. We prefer to stay away from most of the music coming out of Nashville these days. Texans want REAL country music. Mainstream Country music today has lost its balance of steel guitars and fiddles, and has lost its touch with the real working class. We want to spread great music that Texans can relate to!
